Enterprise policy is a major prerequisite for the successful implementation of our globally oriented business activities. It is based on our corporate values and the following cornerstones:
Stakeholders We create an environment in which operational effectiveness, safety, health and well-being are characterised by sustainability. Top priority is given not only to customer satisfaction, but also to the fulfilment of expectations and the trust of shareholders, employees, suppliers, neighbours and other interested parties.
Products, Processes and Methods Our products, solutions and services enable our customers to offer added value. We add value by placing the emphasis on a drive for permanent innovation and sustainable design in addition to uncompromising quality. New products, processes and methods are risk-assessed before they are employed and monitored once implemented. This ensures that resources are used efficiently and cost-effectively throughout the entire life cycle of the product (design, manufacture, use and disposal), that environmental impacts are avoided wherever possible and risks reduced to a minimum.
Education and Training We offer our employees extensive opportunities to develop their full potential and to accomplish exceptional achievements. We help our employees to assume responsibility for their all-round well-being.
Continuous Improvement We operate a continuous improvement process and aim for a zero-defect target. We systematically check our products and processes against requirements and the objectives derived from them. In the event of variances, we initiate corrective measures and monitor their effectiveness. In order to avoid impacts and risks, our products and processes are continuously improved.
Legal Compliance The adherence to all applicable international, national and local laws and regulations (e.g. economic law, competition law, environmental law, employee protection regulations, etc.) as well as all existing internal directives and regulations, including our corporate values and our code of conduct, is a matter of course.
Communication In our dealings with each other and external third parties we act in accordance with the principles of openness, honesty, transparency and fairness at all times.
Management System For the implementation of our enterprise policy we operate a management system which also involves our business partners.
